After breakfast, drive to a full day excursion to Sangam view where Indus & Zanskar river meets. You may opt for river rafting (own cost). After that visit Magnetic Hill & Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Drive back to visit Spituk Monastery – home for the wish fulfilling Kali Mata and Hall of fame – a war memorial Museum. Overnight stay at hotel in Leh.
After a leisurely morning breakfast drive to Nubra valley (The valley of flowers) via Khardung la, (18,300 feet) considered as one of the highest motor able road in the World. The view from top of the passes is amazing. One can see all the way south over the Indus valley to the seemingly endless peaks. After explores we drive toward the down Hunder past an area of rolling sand dunes, one can see double hump Camel and visitors can take a camel safari (Own cost) here. Dinner and overnight in Nubra Valley.
After breakfast at the hotel we drive to the next destination, Pangong lake via Shyok and onto Tangtse and Spangmik (Pangong). Just a few kms drive from Hunder, visit Disket Monastery and later continue your drive towards Pangong, the road follows the Shyok river, and climbs up a mountain before finally descending into Shayok village, the entire setting being very picturesque. Afternoon reach at Pangong lake and enjoy your day at pangong lake and observe the majestic Lake. Overnight stay in Cottages/camps.
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Hanle, by crossing Chushul Village, Chushul War Memorial, Tsaga La (15,200 Ft) enjoy the drive upto Hanle, is home to the Indian Astronomical Observatory. The location of the village and the observatory are highly sensitive due to the close proximity of the Tibetan / Chinese border, India set up the Himalayan Chandra Telescope, a 2m gamma ray telescope. Once complete the Major Atmospheric Cerenkov Experiment Telescope gamma ray telescope under construction they will be the world's largest telescope at the highest altitude and the second largest gamma ray telescope in the world. As per history, it is believed that King Singge Namgyal died here at Hanle while on his return from an expedition Mongols. Enjoy the stay with locals at local guest house. Overnight stay at Hanle.
After breakfast at Hotel / Guest house drive to Umling La or Umlung La is a mountain pass in Ladakh, India on the ridgeline between KoyulLungpa and the Indus River near Demchok. At an elevation of 5,640 metres (18,500 ft), it forms the source for the Umlung stream that drains into the Indus and a tributary of the Kiungdul river that drains into KoyulLungpa.which ascends to a great height of 5,798.251 m (19,024 ft 0.73 in) in the vicinity of the pass, making it the world's highest motorable road. after explore drive back to Hanle for dinner and overnight stay
After breakfast check out and drive to Tsomoriri Lake cross Mahe Bridge, on the way to the Lake. Arrival at Korzok by late noon. Evening take a walk around the Lake to enjoy the scenic beauty. Overnight stay at Korzok (Tsomoriri).
After breakfast retrace the route down to Puga Sumdo and then follow the road across the Polokongka Pass (4920 mtrs) to visit Tsokar Lake, a Salt Lake system in the Rupsho plateau which is home of the Changa nomads and support many rare wild life species. After sightseeing of the area take the Manali-Leh road to return to Leh, crossing Taglang-la pass (alt: 17,585ft) en- route. Arrive at hotel in Leh for dinner and overnight.
